LEICA THERMOCONTROL SYSTEM (MATS)

Temperature-sensitive samples such as valuable living cells die when the the temperature drops. This is a danger dealt with by the Leica Thermocontrol System, MATS.  Leica MATS provides life saving, absolutely uniform temperature across the entire table surface and monitors and controls the temperature reliably.

PHYSITEMP TS4 HEATING STAGE	PHYSITEMP BFS/BFS-TC FREEZING STAGES
The Physitemp thermal microscope stage, TS4, holds specimen at any temperature, -20° to +100°C, has a digital display of set-up and operating temperatures, fits most microscopes, and has a built-n digital thermometer.	BFS/BFS-TC series freezing stages fit easily onto most microtomes. These thermoelectric devices have no moving parts and need only AC current and a trickle of water for operation. Freezing starts immediately and can be maintained indefinitely. Stage temperature is adjustable so that optimum cutting temperatures can be set for different kinds of tissue.
