LUDL MOTORIZED STAGE

Motorized stages for inverted microscopes are a special application requiring a special stage. Specially designed for each type of inverted microscope the BioPrecision stages offer the highest performance. Precision recirculating ball screws provide very high accuracy, stability and long life. With proper maintenance the accuracy is maintained for years. The travel range for this stage is 121mm x 102mm. This makes it suitable for scanning full-size mult-well plates, petri dishes as well as simple glass slides.

MARZHAUSER MOTORIZED STAGE

The Märzhäuser motorized scanning stages are designed for applications in which high accuracy and repeatability are required. The stages are manufactured and tested to guarantee optimal performance even after extended operation. This is only possible by manufacturing the stages to very tight tolerances and using the highest quality materials and components. The scanning stages have a high stepping resolution of 40,000 steps per motor revolution when used with the MultiControl 2000 controller. Because of this capability, high accuracy and smooth and quiet operation of the stage is achieved.With exception of the model SCAN 200 x 200 for 6" microscope stands, all other stages can be used with reflected and transmitted light.
All scanning stages require a motion controller to operate. Accessories are offered for various scanning stage models, such as object holders and sliders. Upon request, all scanning stages of the series SCAN can be equipped with a linear encoder system for closed-loop operation. Stages with a travel range of up to 600 x 600 (24 x 24") can be quoted upon request.
For customers who have their own servo controllers, all scanning stages can be equipped with DC motors and encoders in place of the standard stepper motor.

OBJECTIVE IMAGING STAGE CONTROLLER

The Objective Imaging OASIS-4i controller is a PCI compliant plug-and-play board that provides control of up to four micro-stepping motors.  This allows precise movement of XY stages and focus mechanisms (the Z axis), and the fourth axis controller allows for automation of extra peripheral devices such as filter wheels.  The OASIS-4i is a complete, self-contained solution.  No additional power supplies are required--just install the board into a Windows PC, connect the appropriate cables and you are ready to move XY stages, focus motors, and other peripheral devices.  For more details, please visit www.objectiveimaging.com!
