The
Leica TCS SPE is the new high resolution spectral confocal
for daily research and routine examination. The highly integrated system
is optimized for target applications in research laboratories and pharma-biotechnology.
Providing all important features, it offers spectacular imaging at an attractive price. The
newest technology is implemented in the Leica TCS SPE and this system is
the only confocal in its class providing
true spectral detection. The TCS SPE is very easy to use and first
results are quickly achieved, even by confocal
newcomers. Its robust, durable hardware with long-life components and the
new Leica software platform LAS AF ensure smooth and fast operation. |

Whenever
human lives may be affected, technology must be 100% reliable. For this
reason, autopilots in airplanes and trigger mechanisms in airbags, for
example, are subjected to stringent materials testing. This testing includes
a wide variety of methods used to measure the behavior and material characteristics
of standardized material samples or finished parts (component testing)
under thermal, mechanical and chemical stress. During the tests, a material
is checked for purity, faults or load capacity. The new Leica M165 C and
M205 C allow experts in the materials testing lab to see structures smaller
than ever before. |

The
Leica M205C is the world´s first stereomicroscope
with a zoom range of 20.5x. This accomplishment,
however, was not enough for Leica´s
engineers. With the new FusionOptics, they
have succeeded in going yet another step beyond previous limits. In addition
to the increase in magnification, the resolution, too, has been increased
to up to 1050 lp/mm, which corresponds
to a resolved structure size of 472nm. Of course, this performance increases
benefits your everyday work. Set up your specimens on the microscope with
comfortable freedom of movement and discover details in stereomicroscopy
that you could never see before. |

Leica’s
TIRF system features a dynamic scanner that can be used to precisely position
the laser beam and determine the exact penetration depth of the evanescent
field. The powerful Leica AF6000 fluorescence software offers full control
of the TIRF system. All microscope functions and many analysis tools are
included.

Leica
EL6000 – A new external light source for fluorescence excitation with many
benefits. It is coupled via a liquid light guide to all Leica upright,
inverted and stereomicroscopes. This keeps heat away from the specimen.
It uses an alignment free bulb with an long
lifetime. An attenuator enables to reduce the intensity of excitation light.
A fast shutter switches off excitation light within ms. The Leica EL6000
is an ideal enhancement for fluorescence |

The
Leica DM1000 microscope is designed for use in biology, medicine and clinical
laboratory, especially for Cytology, Hematology, and Pathology, including
fluorescence applications. As a system microscope it is well suited
not only for clinical microscopy, but for basic research microscopy applications
as well. It offers optimum optical performance and ergonomics with easy
to use controls which are comfortable to operate. |

new Leica E-series stands out from the crowd of educational stereomicroscopes
by offering the best value for money and the following features: Leica’s
typical high image quality, color and detail fidelity, mechanical precision
for decades of maintenance-free functionality, precise zoom and focusing
systems for the most exact control, power LED illumination system for incident
and transmitted light. Our unique Leica 3-way incident light technology
on all Leica EZ4 models provides observers of a wide variety of objects
- from strongly structured objects to flat probes - with optimal illumination
to obtain a maximum of information. The integrated LEDs
can be switched individually, dimmed and combined with transmitted
light. The membrane switch that controls the illuminator is integrated
in the base and has a watertight seal.
