Our new Leica DM Digital Microscope series provides the answers to many of our customers' requirements. One of the most frequently voiced requests was to lighten the workload. So we found ways of doing a lot of the work for you. You can operate the microscope intuitively and easily automate complex routines to suit your specific needs. Whatever you need for your examinations or research, we can supply it: the microscopes, the cameras and even the software for analyzing and archiving your images. Parallel to the new Leica DM Digital Microscope series we are offering our own totally new software concept. All our hardware and software components are now controlled from one single interface. All the settings of the Leica DM4000 B can be seen at a glance in the clearly laid out display. And the Leica DM5000 B & DM6000B offer you never before realized control possibilities with the completely new touch-sensitive screen. You can control all the automated features of the microscope via the touch screen – there's no need to know anything about programming.ALM PALM PALM PALM PALM PALM PALM |

The MS5 has a
5-step magnification changer and the MZ6
has a 6:1 zoom ratio. Z16 Worldwide, the manual Leica MZ16 F is the most powerful fluorescence stereomicroscope. Due to its unique features with respect to optical performanceand fluorescence quality, the new Leica MZ16 F is the ideal research and lab instrument fordemanding fluorescence microscopy examinations in biology, medicine, chemistry, electronics, geology, archaeology, aeronautics, cosmetics, pharmaceutical industry, agronomy, criminology, and much more. These are the most important arguments in favor of the Leica MZ16 F. The Leica FluoCombi III is an extremely useful option for the Leica MZ16 F and MZ16 FA fluorescence stereomicroscopes. Expressed Drosophila, C. elegans, zebrafish or Arabidopsis can be sorted in the generous three-dimensional field of view and screened with the same instrument at 460x magnification and 1500 Lp/mm resolution, eg. in gene technology, in-vivo investigation or similar. In many cases, sensitive samples or specimen no longer need to be transferred to a light microscope. Highest resolution up to the edges of the field of vision: planapochromatic 5×high resolution micro objective Thanks to the application of the latest technologies, we have enhanced the imaging performance and correction ofthe new planapochromatic 5×HR micro objective while achieving a long working distance of 19mm. This objective will ensure a lack of vignetting high resolution, a sharp image and brilliant fluorescence. |

Leica MZ16 FA lets you control the filter changer, zoom, focus, UV shutter, and the double iris aperture at the touch of a button, and repeats your multifluorescence experiments automatically, quickly, exactly and ergonomically. The Leica MZ16 FA is the most powerful fluorescence stereomicroscope with the greatest zoom capability (16:1), the highest resolution (840 Lp/mm), the highest magnification (115x with standard optics), a patented illumination/filter system for the most intense fluorescence on jet black backgrounds, and an HL RC™ innovative high-performance transmitted-light base for excellent relief contrast. |

Whenever human lives may be affected, technology must be 100% reliable. For this reason, autopilots in airplanes and trigger mechanisms in airbags, for example, are subjected to stringent materials testing. This testing includes a wide variety of methods used to measure the behavior and material characteristics of standardized material samples or finished parts (component testing) under thermal, mechanical and chemical stress. During the tests, a material is checked for purity, faults or load capacity. The new Leica M165 C and M205 C allow experts in the materials testing lab to see structures smaller than ever before. |

The Leica M205C is the world´s first stereomicroscope with a zoom range of 20.5x. This accomplishment, however, was not enough for Leica´s engineers. With the new FusionOptics, they have succeeded in going yet another step beyond previous limits. In addition to the increase in magnification, the resolution, too, has been increased to up to 1050 lp/mm, which corresponds to a resolved structure size of 472nm. Of course, this performance increases benefits your everyday work. Set up your specimens on the microscope with comfortable freedom of movement and discover details in stereomicroscopy that you could never see before. |

The DM LFS fixed stage upright compound microscope has been designed specifically for live-cell research. This upright microscope allows for easier observation of thick transparent or opaque tissue samples. Featuring Leica's new HCX APO L U-V-I objectives, which are the world's first set of apochromatic corrected long working distance water immersion objectives. The DM LFS, as shown with the Gibraltar Platform, X-Y Stage,& micromanipulators, is fully integratable with a number of third party products. |

The Leica DM IL inverted microscope is ideal for routine examinations of cell and tissue cultures, liquids and sediments. There is plenty of room for bulky culture flasks on the large stage, which can be additionally enlarged with adapter plates. Besides the Leica micromanipulator, all other micromanipulators on the market are compatible with this microscope. Both transmitted light and reflected light observation techniques are possible. |

The Leica MacroFluo introduces the world of fluorescence to macroscopy and vice versa and lets you experience anew dimension of brilliant images of the highest possible precision. For this purpose, we combined the excellentoptics of our apochromatic Leica Z6APO (6.3:1) and Z16APO (16:1) zoom systems with brilliant Leica fluorescence technology. The result: the first and only macro documentation systems for fluorescence and images of a uniquesharpness, precision and depth of information. The unique feature of the MacroFluo concept is the combination of large working distances and fields of view of a stereomicroscope with the vertical optical path typical of microscopes. Unlike stereomicroscopy with two conver-gent optical paths, it guarantees absolutely parallax-free imaging and maximum precision when examining whole, living models. The result is much greater accuracy in digital image processing, analysis and measurements. |
